Kaya LOVES to smell flowers. She buries her entire face in them; I am excited for spring so we can go to the campus gardens and she can see all of the pretty flowers. (We had snow last week....spring starts when summer should be starting)

I put her container of crackers on the chair so she could reach them better, and she immediately went to get her little red chair and placed it in this convenient spot for snacking; she loves that chair and carries it all over the house.

Drinking out of Grandpa's water bottle; an impressive feat since it is basically as big as her entire body. :)

Trying to get her hands on whatever she can. The dishwasher is so full of interesting things.

Cooking with Grandpa is the best!

Talking to Aunt Kimberly on the phone. She was sad when I finally had to take the phone away from her.

She really enjoyed going down the slide. Now, anytime she sees a slide, she says "Whoaaaaa", the sound she also makes when she goes on the slide.

At the park with Grandpa.

Looking cute in her little sweater.

She also enjoyed the little chair at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

She loves being outside, so even when she wasn't, she would lay by the sliding glass door and look outside.

Sitting on a container of pasta and reading a book.

She discovered that the container of pasta was just the right size for her to sit on.

Climbing our bed.

For some reason, every time she comes in our room, she runs over to the bookshelf and pulls off this book (it is the same one every time) and stands on it. I don't know why she does it, but it makes me laugh every time.

Crazy baby!

Yes, she is wearing baby bloomers on her head like a hat. She likes to put clothes on, although she has not yet figured out where each item goes. Thank you Cheryl for the cute dress. :)

Counting her precious jewels.

Trying to grab the clean laundry while showing off her bracelets.

She loved that mommy and daddy were telling her how pretty she was!

Shaking her hands so the bracelets will make fun sounds.

Today she wanted to try on some bracelets. I found as many as I could, and she wanted to put all of them on! She had so much fun running around the house while we told her how pretty she was with her beautiful bracelets. She would try to bend over and pick something up but leave her hands bent funny so that the bracelets wouldn't fall off her arms. She eventually pushed them onto her upper arms to avoid the danger of losing her jewelry. We just can't stop laughing at her adorable personality. :)
This is how Kaya eats cheese:

Step 1- place foot on tray.

Step 2- give the cheese a little snakey lick to see if it is edible.

Step 3- continue to lick the cheese. Eventually some of the nutrition will find its way into your system. Somehow.

She loves Aunt Elise.

Helping mommy bake some bread.

Smelling daddy's phone. She is just starting to notice smells (like lotion, shampoo, food, etc.) so she is smelling pretty much everything now. Just like daddy. :)

Starting to get more little blond curls! We can't wait till this is all over her head and no longer a mullet. :)

Trying to get her interested in self feeding. Mostly she just smeared the yogurt everywhere, I don't think a lot of it was actually consumed.

Hugging her baby doll.

Dancing.

We are still trying to teach her that books are for reading, not for licking. So far, not much luck. :)

Super baby!

Um.....relaxing in the most logical way.

Yep. Licking the table. What more can I say.

Sleepy baby.

Chillin' in the bean bag.

Ah, to live the relaxing life of a toddler.....

Looking at the snow with daddy.

Goofing around with daddy.

Snuggle buddies!

Can you tell that she learned this from Chris? :)

Riding the truck she got for Christmas.

Cute!

Reading her favorite book.

She loves goldfish.

I love her curly blond hair!

Reading with daddy.

Hugging a pillow and her bottle.....why, I don't know. She's just awesome like that.

You can't tell, but that is a little stuffed frog that she put on her arm like a bracelet.

She LOVES to read.

Eating daddy's cheese stick.

Reading.....

She loves the baby doll that nana gave her.....she carries it all over the house with her.

Being silly with cousin Rachel.

Trying to figure out how to eat the peanut butter.
